Through the lens of art historical research and street photography, this project seeks to depict and analyze the behaviors of Hegemonic Masculinity through research-based methods while also beginning to form a visual archive of masculinity. This project includes the creation of works of street photography and video. The photos and videos will focus on gendered behaviors, objects, and spaces on the streets and in public. Phases 1, 2, and 2.5 were exhibited in the Space Lab a student gallery in Knobview Hall at Indiana University Southeast. The videos are available below for preview.
